Soft skill program at Naalyapadavu college

Mangaluru 23rd July, 2022: Mangalore: Srinivas University Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities organised a soft skill development program at Shakthi Nagar government PU college Naalyapadavu. Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities dean Dr.Laveena D'mello gave training to students. Principal of  Govt PU college Naalyapadavu Mr. Jayananda Suvarna presided over the program. Prof. Joyson Prenky Cardoza, Prof.Sushmitha, and Research scholar Shivaraj we're present.  students actively participated in the program.

Awareness Program about Cyber smart application

Mangaluru 18th July, 2022: Institute of social science and humanities srinivas university   Mangluru  Organised a Awareness Program about  Cyber smart Application from 10.30 to 11.30am.The lecture was delivered by Mr. Yogish, Cordinator of Inchara Foundation Mangalore. The resource person has explained about Cyber Smartness and Various Problems committed in the Cyber Space. The advise about how to prevent our self from cyber attack is also provided during the session. Cybersecurity is the protection of internet-connected systems such as hardware, software and data from cyber threats. Then he showed some videos based on cyber smartness. About 18 students from MSW course have actively participated in the session. 

Farewell to 2020-22 Second Year MSW

Pandeshwara, 16th July, 2022: Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities have organised Farewell programme for the Second Year MSW Students (Batch 2020-22). The formal programme started with the prayer song by Ms. Sanjana and Ms. Jyothi. The welcome address was delivered by Ms. Soji of First Year MSW.  The inaugurated of the programme was carried by cutting the cake by Dr. Laveena D'Mello, Dean of the department. All second year students have shared their experiences on the stage. Vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Shreya of first year. Cultural programmes and games were conducted for the outgoing students. The games including pick and act, balloon game, saree wearing, dancing task were conducted. Cultural programmes such as solo song by Mr. Jerin, Group dance by First year MSW girls, Solo dance by Ms. Souparnika of Bachelor of Journalism, Solo dance by Ms. Ashira of first year BSW were performed. Lunch was served to all the participants. Documentary was played by Ms. Dyanika of Journalism Department. Feedback session was organised and Prizes were distributed to the winners of the game by Dr. Laveena D'Mello. Mr. Mohammad Khilaf of Journalism department proposed the Vote of Thanks. 

National Press Day On 1-7-2022
