SOCIAL WORK PRACTICE IN AUSTRALIA


Mangalore: Srinivas University Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities organised a Guest Lecture on Social work Practice in Australia, Career opportunities and Challenges on December 17, 2022 at Srinivas University City Campus Pandeshwar.
The resource person Senior Social worker- The Department for Child Protection Government of South Australia Mr. Joby Mathew and the Disability Support officer Department of Human Services Government of South Australia Ms. Renji Joby explained the career challenges in Australia as well as India. 
Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities Dean, Dr. Laveena Dmello presided over the program. Program faculty convenor Dr.Pradeep M.D., Dr. Vidya N., Prof. Joyson Prenky Cardoza, Prof. Sushmitha S. Kotian, Prof. Shreeraj S. Acharya, Student Convenor Arun Kuriakose were present. 
MSW, BSW and BA Journalism and Mass Communication students actively participated in the session. 
Student Ashwini welcome the gathering, and Tejaswini offered a vote of thanks. Akshara K. hosted the program.

NSS SHRAMADHAN


Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities NSS forum Organised Shramadhan program at Womens PU college Carstreet on 14 December 2022. 30 students from Institute of Social sciences and Humanities Actively participated in the Shramadhan program.
NSS Faculty Convener Prof.Sushmitha and Prof.Joyson Prenky Cardoza were present.

ISSH Celebrates 73rd Constitution Day Of India



Pandeshwara : Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities, Srinivas University has Celebrated 73rd Constitution Day of India on 26th November 2022. 

Professor Meghashree, Institute of Port Shipping, Supply Chain Management, Srinivas University was the Resource Person of the Programme,  Dr. Pradeep M. D, Associate Professor, Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities, Srinivas University presided over the programme.
The preamble of Indian Constitution was displayed in the notice board. The resource person oriented on Fundamental Rights and Duties. Students took an oath to up held the Constitutional values in their day to day life.

The vote of thanks was offered by Irish Fernandes, Student of Journalism and Mass Communication, Programme was hosted by Shreyas Shenoy, Student of  Social Work.

Programme Coordinator,  Professor Joyson Prenky Cardoza, professor Shreeraj S. Acharya, Research Scholar Shivaraj G. And Students of Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities were present at the Programme.
