On January 25th, 2024, Srinivas University, City Campus, Pandeshwara, Mangalore, witnessed a vibrant celebration of National Voters Day, organized by the Department of Social Work, Institute of Management and Commerce (IMC). The event, aimed at encouraging youth participation in the electoral process, was hosted by both 1st and 2nd-year MSW students. The program, held in the 1st MSW class, brought together students from both batches to commemorate the significance of voting rights. Through various engaging activities, participants were motivated to actively engage in the electoral process, recognizing it as a fundamental right of citizenship. Led by the 2nd-year MSW students, the event featured interactive sessions where students exchanged ideas and viewpoints on the importance of voting and individual voting rights. This exchange of perspectives fostered a deeper understanding of civic responsibility among the participants.
