Guest Talk on Professional Communication for MSW Students

The Institute of Management and Commerce, Department of Social Sciences and Humanities at Srinivas University, Mangalore, organized an insightful guest talk on Professional Communication for MSW (Master of Social Work) students on 30th December 2024.

The program was organized under the guidance of Dr. Venketesh S. Amin, Dean of IMC, and Prof. Joyson Prenky Cardoza, Head of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities. The session was facilitated by Prof. Kevin Amrith, Assistant Professor, Institute of Hotel Management & Tourism, Srinivas University, Mangalore.

The session commenced with a warm welcome and an introduction to the resource person. Prof. Kevin Amrith delivered an engaging talk emphasizing the importance of effective communication in both personal and professional realms. He shared practical tips and strategies to develop strong communication skills essential for success in the dynamic professional landscape.

The talk was complemented by interactive activities that encouraged students to actively participate and apply the concepts learned during the session. Activities like Strategic Building Game were designed to enhance teamwork, listening skills, and strategic thinking.
