Srinivas University Institute of Management and Commerce, Department of Social Sciences and Humanities (MSW), and BA Journalism and Mass Communication participated in the sapling plantation programme at Praja Sauda (new DC office) on 10 June 2025.
Organized with the National Environmental Care Federation, the programme was led by Mr. Harish, Dakshina Kannada District Coordinator.
The students enthusiastically participated—digging soil, placing compost, and planting saplings. Under the supervision of Prof. Joyson Prenky Cardoza (Head of MSW), Prof. Susmitha (Head of Journalism and Mass Communication), Prof. Ranjith Bhat, and Prof. Karthik Nair, a total of 55 saplings were planted.
