Dates Attended: 30th July – 1st August 2025

Location: Samvada Head Office, Bangalore.

Purpose of the Visit:

The visit was organized as part of a State-Level Youth Campaign Planning and Discussion, led by Samvada. Mr. Azeem nominated based on his fieldwork performance at the Mangalore Youth Resource Centre. The objective was to engage youth representatives in the design and development of a campaign on Youth Empowerment.

Day-wise Summary:

Day 1 – 30th July 2025

Orientation and team-building sessions

Introduction to the goals of the youth campaign

Discussions on youth issues in Karnataka

Day 2 – 31st July 2025

Workshops on campaign strategy, communication, and leadership

Group discussions and planning of district-level campaigns

Poster-making and creative outreach sessions

Day 3 – 1st August 2025

Finalizing campaign plans for each district

Mr. Azeem was selected as a core team leader for Dakshina Kannada

Preparing action points and planning follow-up meetings

Outcome:

Built strong leadership and organizing skills

Understood ground-level youth concerns and policy gaps

Selected to lead the campaign process in Dakshina Kannada district

Gained hands-on experience in campaign design and mobilization.

Next Process:

1. Press Meeting

Organizing two press meets to raise public awareness:

One in Mangalore

One in Bangalore with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah

2. Net Campaigning

Visiting various colleges across Dakshina Kannada to engage students

Giving awareness talks as a district-level youth campaign leader

3. Youth Empowerment Camp

Planning a dedicated camp focused on youth rights, opportunities, and challenges

Mobilizing college youth to participate and become local change agents

4. Youth Commission Demand

A major goal of the campaign is to advocate for the formation of a Youth Commission in Karnataka.
