The Department of Social Sciences and Humanities (MSW), Institute of Management and Commerce, Srinivas University, Mangalore, organized a potluck party on 22 August 2026 as part of a co-curricular activity to provide students and faculty members with a refreshing break from the regular classroom routine and to promote interaction, bonding, and togetherness. The program was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Venkatesh S. Amin, Dean, and Prof. Joyson Prenky Cardoza, Head of the Department (HOD), with the active support and participation of Dr. Stutima Basista, Dr. Laveena D’Mello, and Prof. Ranjith Bhat. Students and faculty members enthusiastically participated by bringing a variety of homemade and favorite food items. The spread included samosa, dal tadka, cake, sweets, chana sukka, payasa, ash gourd cake, fried rice, roti, curd, and many more delicious dishes. The activity created a joyful and informal atmosphere where students and faculty members could interact beyond the classroom. It encouraged sharing, cooperation, participation, and a sense of belonging, while providing everyone with an enjoyable break from academic activities. Overall, the Potluck Party was a fun-filled and memorable co-curricular activity that strengthened the bond between students and faculty members and added a refreshing touch to campus life.
