Report on Industrial Visit to Kalyani Bottling
The Department of Master of Social Work (MSW), Institute of Management and Commerce, Srinivas University, successfully organised an industrial visit to Kalyani Bottling, Kenchankere, Mulki, for MSW students as part of their academic and practical learning. The visit was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Venkatesh S. Amin, Dean; Prof. Joyson Prenky Cardoza, HOD-MSW; Dr. Stutima Basista; and Prof. Ranjith Bhat C, Assistant Professor. The main objective of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to industrial operations, production processes, organisational structure, employee welfare, workplace safety, and human resource practices. Students observed the bottling process and gained an understanding of the coordination and communication required among different departments for efficient organisational functioning.The visit also helped students understand the practical relevance of Industrial Social Work, Labour Welfare, Human Resource Management, and Organisational Behaviour. It enabled them to connect classroom knowledge with real-world workplace practices and understand the importance of employee motivation, welfare, safety, and positive employer–employee relationships.Overall, the industrial visit was an informative and enriching experience that enhanced the students' practical knowledge and contributed to their academic and professional development.
