The Department of Social Sciences and Humanities (MSW), Institute of Management and Commerce, Srinivas University, Mangalore, organized indoor activities on 05 September 2026 as part of the National Sports Day celebrations. The program was organized as an extracurricular activity to encourage recreation, active participation, teamwork, and healthy competition among students and faculty members. The program was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Venkatesh S. Amin, Dean, and Prof. Joyson Prenky Cardoza, Head of the Department (HOD), with the active support and participation of Dr. Laveena D'Mello, Dr. Stutima Basistha, and Prof. Ranjith Bhat. Students enthusiastically participated in various indoor activities. The program created an energetic and enjoyable atmosphere and provided an opportunity for participants to interact beyond the regular classroom setting. The activities helped promote team spirit, concentration, sportsmanship, cooperation, and healthy competition. They also provided a refreshing break from academic routines and encouraged students to understand the importance of sports and recreational activities for physical and mental well-being. Overall, the indoor activities conducted as part of National Sports Day were engaging and enjoyable. The program strengthened interaction among students and faculty members while promoting the values of participation, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
