9th-June-2026-Report on PLANTATION DAY PROGRAM

The Plantation Day Program was successfully conducted on 9th June 2026 by the Master of Social Work (MSW) students with the objective of promoting environmental awareness and encouraging sustainable practices. The program involved the planting of saplings within the campus premises, highlighting the importance of environmental conservation and the collective responsibility of preserving nature for future generations. The students actively participated in the initiative with enthusiasm and commitment, making the event both meaningful and impactful. The program was organized under the guidance of Dr. Venkatesh S. Amin, whose valuable direction, motivation, and support played a significant role in the successful execution of the activity. His encouragement inspired the students to actively engage in environmental stewardship and community responsibility. The MSW students express their sincere gratitude to Prof. Joyson Prenky Cardoza, Head of the Department, for his constant encouragement and leadership in facilitating such socially relevant activities. Special thanks are also extended to Dr. Stutima Basista, Dr. Laveena D'Mello, and Prof. Ranjith Bhat for their unwavering support, guidance, and cooperation throughout the program. Their contributions greatly enhanced the success of the event and motivated the students to participate wholeheartedly.
