The Department of Social Work,
Srinivas University, organized an industrial visit to Gurucharan Industries for
1st-year MSW students on 9th May 2026. The visit provided valuable practical
exposure to industrial functioning, labor welfare practices, workplace safety,
and organizational management. This industrial visit is conducted under the
guidance of Dean Dr. Venkatesh S. Amin, Prof. Joyson Preky Cardoza, HOD,epartment of social science and humanities.IMC.Dr. Laveena, and
Prof. Ranjith Bhat. Students gained real-time insights into industrial social
work, employee welfare, and labor management practices. A meaningful learning
experience bridging classroom knowledge with industrial reality.
